Corn Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 strips bacon
    1 c. water
    2 c. creamed corn
    2 Tbsp. butter
    salt and pepper
    1 medium onion
    1 potato, cut into small pieces
    1 can evaporated milk
Preparation
    Cook bacon and onion until tender, not brown. Add water, potatoes and corn. Cook slowly until potatoes are tender.
    Add salt and pepper.
    Just before serving, add evaporated milk and butter.
