Fruit Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick butter
    1 c. dark brown sugar
    2 eggs
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. all-purpose flour
    1/2 lb. candied pineapple, chopped
    1/2 lb. candied cherries, chopped
    2 c. nuts
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar; add eggs, salt and flour.
    Grease pan (biscuit pan) real good.
    Put nuts on bottom of pan and then the batter.
    Put pineapple and cherries on top and press into batter. Bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 hour and cut in squares when cool.
