Louisiana Pear Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. margarine, softened
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. grated pears
1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Mix margarine, sugar and egg together.\tSift flour, salt, soda and cinnamon together.
Add to sugar and egg mixture.
Add vanilla, pears and nuts and mix well.
Pour into a greased and floured baking dish or 8 x 8-inch pan.
Bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 hour.
Serve with whipped cream.
