Chicken Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. chopped green onion
    2 c. chopped celery
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 pkg. herb stuffing mix
    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. water
    3 c. cooked chopped chicken
    1/2 c. mayonnaise
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 1/4 c. milk
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
Preparation
    Saute onion and celery in 2 tablespoons butter.
    Spread one-half herb stuffing mix in greased 9 x 13-inch dish.
    Heat one-half cup butter and 1 cup water.
    Pour over stuffing mix.
