Slush Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry gelatin
    1 c. sugar
    2 c. boiling water
    1 large can pineapple juice
    16 oz. lemon-lime soda
Preparation
    Mix gelatin, sugar and boiling water together until dissolved. Add pineapple juice, then enough water to make 1 gallon.
    Freeze overnight.
    Just before serving, put in punch bowl and add lemon-lime soda.
    Stir until slushy.
