Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head cabbage
    1 green or red pepper
    1 onion
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 c. oil
    1 c. vinegar
    2 Tbsp. celery seed
    2 Tbsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    Shred cabbage; slice pepper and onion very thin.
    Mix with 3/4 cup sugar.
    Bring to a full boil last 5 remaining ingredients, stirring, over high heat.
    Pour over slaw mixture.
    Keeps well; better the second day.
