Ingredients

1 egg
3/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
dash of pepper
1/4 lb. Muenster cheese
Preparation

Beat egg lightly in bowl with a whisk.
Add the flour, half the milk, salt and pepper.
Stir in remaining milk.
Let batter stand for an hour.
Coarsely grate the cheese and stir half of it into the batter.
Grease an 8-inch Pyrex pie plate; pour the batter into it and bake in a preheated 425\u00b0 oven for 30 minutes or until puffed and brown.
Scatter remaining cheese on top and bake just until it is melted.
Cut into 24 narrow wedges.
