Caramel Icing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 Tbsp. Crisco
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1/4 c. milk
    powdered sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix sugar (brown), Crisco and butter.
    Cook until sugar is melted and dissolved.
    Add 1/4 cup milk and cook for 3 minutes. Take from stove and let cool.
    Then add enough powdered sugar to spread.
    Beat until smooth.
    Add vanilla last and blend into mixture.
