Vinegar Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. flour
    1 pt. water
    vinegar or lemon juice to taste (4 to 5 Tbsp.)
Preparation
    Mix
    sugar and flour in saucepan.
    Pour in water.
    Stir to thicken over medium heat.
    Should be like gravy consistency.
    Stir in vinegar or lemon juice to your own taste.
    Serve hot over your favorite white or yellow cake.
