Coconut Macaroons - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 egg whites
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    dash of salt
    2/3 c. sugar
    1 1/3 c. flaked coconut
Preparation
    Grease a cookie sheet.
    Beat egg whites, vanilla and salt until soft peaks form.
    Gradually add sugar, beating until stiff peaks form.
    Fold in coconut.
    Drop from a teaspoon 1 1/2 inches apart onto a greased cookie sheet.
    Bake in 325\u00b0 oven for about 20 minutes.
    Cool on a wire rack.
    Makes about 20 to 24.
