Icebox Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium head cabbage, chopped
    1 chopped onion
    1 diced green pepper
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. celery seed
    3/4 c. sugar
    3/4 c. cooking oil
    3/4 c. white vinegar
Preparation
    In saucepan, bring to a boil the last 5 ingredients and pour over the vegetables.
    Cover tightly and put in refrigerator.
    This keeps for several days.
