Fudge Nut Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. margarine
2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
3 c. oatmeal
12 oz. chocolate chips
1 can sweetened condensed milk
2 Tbsp. margarine
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. nuts, chopped (optional)

Preparation

Cream margarine, brown sugar, eggs and vanilla.
Add flour, baking powder, salt and oatmeal.
Spread 1/2 of this in a greased jelly roll pan.
