Ingredients

1 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. finely chopped almonds
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar together.
Stir in almonds and vanilla. Blend in flour with a pastry blender.
Form into small balls. Place on an ungreased baking sheet.
Flatten with a glass dipped in sugar.
Bake for 9 to 10 minutes in a 375\u00b0 oven until lightly browned.
Makes 6 dozen.
