Bourbon Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. finely crushed vanilla wafers
    2 c. powdered sugar
    1 c. finely chopped walnuts or pecans (approximately 4 oz.)
    1/4 c. cocoa
    1/2 c. bourbon, rum or brandy
    1/4 c. light corn syrup
    granulated or powdered sugar
Preparation
    Mix crushed wafers, powdered sugar, nuts and cocoa.
    Stir in bourbon and corn syrup.
    Shape mixture into one-inch balls.
    Roll in sugar.
    Cover tightly and refrigerate several days before serving.
    Makes about 5 dozen candies.
