Molasses Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. soft margarine
    1/3 c. brown sugar
    1 egg
    2/3 c. unsulphured molasses
    2 3/4 c. flour, sifted
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. ginger
Preparation
    Mix together thoroughly the margarine, brown sugar, egg and molasses.
    Sift together and stir in flour, soda, salt, cinnamon and ginger.
    Chill dough.
    Roll out 1/4-inch thick.
    Cut into desired shapes.
    Place 1-inch apart on greased baking sheet.
    Bake until when touched lightly with finger, no imprint remains.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
    Yield:
    about 5 dozen 2 1/2-inch cookies.
