Texas Hash - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 large onions, chopped
2 green peppers
3 Tbsp. oil or shortening
1 lb. hamburger
2 medium or 1 large can tomatoes
1 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation

Cook onions and peppers in oil until tender.
Add hamburger and cook until meat falls apart.
Drain fat if necessary.
Add tomatoes and 1 cup uncooked macaroni or spaghetti or 1/2 cup rice.
Pour into buttered casserole and bake for 45 minutes or until tender in 375\u00b0 oven.
Stir occasionally.
