Almond Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. margarine
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg, separated
    2 c. flour
    1/2 c. sliced almonds
Preparation
    Cream margarine, sugar and egg yolk.
    Add flour.
    Spread 1/4-inch thick in a 10 x 15-inch pan.
    Beat egg white stiff and spread on top.
    Sprinkle with nuts.
    Bake 45 minutes at 275\u00b0.
    Cut into squares at once.
