White Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. candied pineapple
    1/2 lb. butter
    5 eggs, well beaten
    2 Tbsp. vanilla
    4 c. nuts, chopped fine
    1 lb. candied cherries
    2 c. plain flour
    1 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. lemon flavoring
Preparation
    Sift flour and mix with fruit and nuts.
    Mix sugar and butter well and add eggs and flavoring. Add fruit and nuts until mixture is smooth.
    Put into a greased tube pan.
    Put into a cold oven and bake at 225\u00b0 for 2 to 2 1/2 hours.
