Punch Bowl Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box Duncan Hines butter recipe cake mix, baked according to directions (9 x 13-inch pan)
    1 large pkg. vanilla instant pudding, made according to directions on box
    2 cans cherry pie or strawberry pie filling
    2 large cans crushed pineapple, drained
    2 (12 oz.) pkg. fresh frozen coconut
    2 (8 oz.) Cool Whip
Preparation
    Crumble half of cake and layer half of the ingredients in order listed.
    Continue layering, beginning with last half of cake and ending with Cool Whip.
    Garnish with nuts, coconut, cherries, etc.
    Be sure to use punch bowl.
    It makes a large quantity.
