Fried Green Tomatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 large green tomatoes, sliced 1/4-inch thick
    2 to 3 eggs, beaten
    salt and pepper
    2 c. flour
    vegetable oil
Preparation
    Salt and pepper tomato slices.
    Dip tomato slices into beaten eggs, then into flour.
    Drop into deep hot oil; let fry until golden brown.
    Makes about 2 dozen.
    Serve alone or with meal.
