Emily Lee Ann'S Poppy Seed Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. poppy seed
3 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 1/4 c. milk
1/3 c. vegetable oil
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
Grease and flour 1 (9 x 5 x 3-inch) loaf pan or 2 (8 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 2 1/2-inch) loaf pans.
Mix all ingredients and beat 30 seconds.
Pour into pan(s).
Bake until wooden pick comes out clean; 9-inch loaf for 55 to 65 minutes or 8 1/2-inch loaves for 55 to 60 minutes.
Take out of oven and cool for 2 to 3 minutes, then take out of pan.
Leave to cool (upright) on wire rack.
