Strawberry Jam - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. crushed strawberries
    7 c. sugar
    1 liquid pectin
Preparation
    Measure strawberries into 6-quart pot.
    Measure sugar into bowl.
    Stir sugar into fruit; mix thoroughly.
    Bring mixture to full rolling boil over high heat, stirring constantly, and quickly stir pectin into fruit mixture.
    Bring to full rolling boil, stirring constantly, then continue boiling for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
    Remove from heat.
    Fill jars immediately to 1/8-inch from tops of jars.
    Wipe jar rims and threads.
    Cover quickly with lids; screw bands tightly.
    Check to see if sealed in 4 to 5 minutes.
    Makes about 4 (8 ounce) jars.
