Peanut Butter Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1 lb. light brown sugar
    1/2 c. milk
    3/4 c. peanut butter (smooth or crunchy)
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 lb. confectioners sugar
Preparation
    In medium saucepan, melt butter; stir in brown sugar and milk. Bring to a boil; boil 2 minutes while stirring.
    Remove from heat and add peanut butter and vanilla.
    Stir until smooth.
    Mix in confectioners sugar 1 cup at a time, mixing well after each addition.
    Spread into buttered 9-inch square pan.
    Cool and cut into squares.
