Vanilla Ice Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. milk
    2 c. sugar (maybe less)
    1 (12 oz.) can evaporated milk
    1 (8 oz.) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
    1 (5 1/4 oz.) pkg. vanilla instant pudding mix
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients in a large bowl; beat at medium speed of an electric mixer until well blended.
    Pour mixture into freezer can of electric freezer (or hand-turned).
    Freeze according to manufacturer's directions.
    Let ripen at least 1 hour (if you can wait!).
    Yields 5 quarts.
