Self-Filling Cupcakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (1 lb. 2 1/2 oz.) pkg. German chocolate cake mix
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1/3 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Prepare cake mix according to package directions. Spoon into paper lined muffin tins, filling 3/4 full. Mix the softened cheese, egg, salt and sugar together until light and fluffy. Add the chips.
    Drop by teaspoon into each cupcake. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes; check for doneness.
    Makes about 2 dozen cupcakes. Frost with favorite icing, if desired.
