Little Venice Spaghetti Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. olive oil
    1 large garlic clove
    1 small can tomato paste
    2 large cans crushed tomatoes
    1 tsp. basil
    1 tsp. parsley
    1/2 c. applesauce
    1/2 c. Romano cheese, grated
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Crush garlic clove and saute with olive oil.
    Add tomato paste and simmer 15 minutes.
    Add crushed tomatoes, basil, parsley, applesauce, salt and pepper.
    Simmer for 40 minutes.
    Add Romano cheese.
