Carbonara Ala Diane - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 box thin spaghetti
2 onions (medium)
1 pkg. fresh mushrooms
1 lb. bacon
1/2 pt. half and half
1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
1 tsp. margarine
1 tsp. oregano
Preparation

Cook spaghetti, drain and set aside.
Slice onions and mushrooms.
Cut the pound of bacon in half then in half again; set aside.
Saute the onions and mushrooms in margarine, remove and set aside.
In same frying pan cook bacon until almost done (not crisp).
Drain bacon grease.
Add onions and mushrooms to bacon. Add oregano, spaghetti, half and half and stir over medium heat. Add Parmesan cheese.
Mix well.
Cook 1 to 2 minutes and remove. Serve with a salad and garlic bread.
