Easy Sauerbraten - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 or 3 lb. beef
    1/2 tsp. black pepper
    1 Tbsp. ground allspice
    1 c. vinegar
    1 Tbsp. salt
    6 bay leaves
    1 large onion, chopped
    1/2 c. sugar
Preparation
    Marinate meat in pickle marinade for 3 days. Cook slowly at 350\u00b0 for 2 to 3 hours in marinade. May add water. Meat should be cut into medium sized pieces.
