Caramel Crunch Apple Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (9-inch) pie crust, unbaked
    6 c. tart apples, sliced
    28 caramels, unwrapped and sliced
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    1/3 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. water
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    3/4 c. flour
    1/3 c. butter
Preparation
    Slice apples and set aside.
    Melt caramels in water and layer apples with caramel sauce alternately in pie shell.
    Combine cinnamon, nuts, flour and sugar.
    Cut in butter until crumbly; sprinkle over apples.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 40 to 45 minutes.
