Barbecue Sauce(Large Quantity) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (No. 10) can catsup
    12 c. water
    4 c. onions, chopped
    4 c. celery, chopped
    1 1/2 c. vinegar (any kind)
    1 c. lemon juice
    3/4 c. prepared mustard
    1 1/2 c. Worcestershire sauce
    3 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. brown sugar
    3/4 c. butter
    red pepper pod (whole)
Preparation
    Melt butter in saucepan.
    Add onions and celery; cook gently for 10 minutes.
    Add all the remaining ingredients except lemon juice.
    Cook until smooth and thickened.
    Just before removing from heat, add the lemon juice.
