Fruit And Nut Bread Pudding - cooking recipe
Ingredients

16 slices day old bread
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
3 c. milk
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. vanilla
1 can apple pie filling
2 c. chopped nuts
1 c. raisins
3/4 c. butter
whipped cream (optional)
Preparation

Tear bread into 1-inch pieces.
In large bowl, combine bread and sugar, set aside.
In another bowl beat eggs, milk, cinnamon, salt and vanilla.
Pour over bread and sugar.
Mix well, cover and refrigerate 2 hours.
Stir in the apple pie filling (cut slices in half), nuts, raisins and butter.
Pour into 9 x 13-inch pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes, until firm.
Cut in squares.
Serve warm or cold with whipped cream, if desired.
