Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. mashed bananas
3 Tbsp. milk (sour or buttermilk)
2 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
-
Blend first 3 ingredients.
Stir in milk and bananas.
Sift and add dry ingredients.
Add nuts.
Put in greased loaf pan; let stand 20 minutes before baking.
Bake 1 hour.
