Potato Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. leftover mashed potatoes
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 egg, beaten
    1 Tbsp. flour
    salt and pepper
    oil (for frying)
Preparation
    Cook the onion in small amount of oil until tender.
    Combine potatoes, onion and egg; mix well.
    Drop by spoonful in hot skillet.
    Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
    Brown on both sides. Serve hot.
