Fusilli With Fresh Tomato Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 large ripe tomatoes
    1 medium-size onion, chopped
    2 tsp. olive oil
    1/2 tsp. leaf oregano
    1/2 tsp. black pepper
    1/2 c. chicken broth
    1/4 c. fresh basil, chopped, or 1 Tbsp. dried basil
    12 oz. fusilli pasta, cooked according to pkg. and drained
    2 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Preparation
    Slice a large X on bottom of each tomato.
    Immerse into boiling water 15 seconds.
    When cool, peel off skin.
    Slice tomatoes into 1-inch chunks, letting seeds fall out.
