Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    2 sticks oleo (1 c.)
    2 eggs, well beaten
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 level tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/8 tsp. nutmeg
    1/3 c. buttermilk
    4 c. plain flour
Preparation
    Sift flour. Make big hole in middle and put all ingredients in hole. Add buttermilk. Mix with hands to make a stiff dough. Roll out and cut with cutter; don't roll too thin. Bake at 425\u00b0 until done, but not too hard. Brown lightly with oven on broil.
