3 Tbsp. butter
1/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
2 Tbsp. country style Dijon mustard
2 c. cored, sliced tart apples, not peeled
1 lb. 1/2-inch thick ham slice
Preparation

In 10-inch skillet, melt butter until sizzling.
Stir in brown sugar and mustard.
Add apples.
Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until apples are crisply tender (5 to 7 minutes). Place ham steak in same skillet, arranging apples on ham steak. Cover; continue cooking until ham steak is heated through (5 to 7 minutes).
Makes 4 servings.
