Sweet And Sour Red Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head red cabbage
    1 large onion, peeled and chopped
    2 Tbsp. oil
    1 c. red Burgundy wine
    1/2 c. cider vinegar
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 large red apple, chopped
Preparation
    Shred cabbage medium fine.
    Saute onion in oil in large pot. Add cabbage and saute lightly.
    Add wine, vinegar, sugar and apple.
    Cook 35 minutes or until cabbage is wilted.
    Freezes well.
