Squash Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 medium onion, chopped
2 lb. yellow squash
1 c. grated cheese
1 c. cracker crumbs
dash of black pepper
3 tsp. butter
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. milk
1 egg, beaten
Preparation

Cook squash and onion until tender.
Remove from heat, drain off any excess liquid.
Then mash squash and onions; add salt, pepper and butter.
Add cracker crumbs, half of the cheese, milk and egg.
Stir until well blended.
Pour into greased casserole dish.
Bake at 350\u00b0 until set, about 45 minutes, sprinkle rest of cheese on top and return to oven until melted and lightly browned.
