Ham Croquettes(Leftovers) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1/4 c. flour
    3/4 c. milk
    1 tsp. grated onion
    2 c. coarsely ground cooked ham
    2 tsp. mustard
    3/4 c. dry bread crumbs (very fine)
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    2 Tbsp. water
Preparation
    Melt butter; blend in flour.
    Add milk all at once.
    Cook and stir until thick and bubbly; cook and stir 1 minute more.
    Remove from heat.
    Add ham, onion and mustard.
    Chill well.
    Shape mixture into 8 to 10 balls.
    Roll in bread crumbs.
    Shape into cone, handling lightly.
    Combine egg and water; dip cone in mixture and roll again in crumbs.
    Fry in deep, hot fat (365\u00b0) for 1 1/2 to 2 minutes.
    Drain.
