Petunia Bread Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. light brown sugar
    3 slices buttered bread, cubed
    3 beaten eggs
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    dash of salt
    2 c. milk
    raisins (if desired)
Preparation
    Put brown sugar in top of double boiler.
    Add cubed bread. Combine eggs, vanilla, salt, milk and raisins.
    Pour mixture over bread.
    Don't stir.
    Cook for 1 hour in double boiler (undisturbed).
    When done, turn upside down on serving dish.
