Baked Squash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 to 6 yellow squash
    1 chopped onion
    1 egg
    1/2 c. mayonnaise
    2 c. sharp Cheddar cheese
    2 Tbsp. melted butter
    crumbled Ritz crackers
    1/4 c. melted butter
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Boil onion and chopped squash until tender and drain.
    Add butter, mayonnaise, egg, salt and pepper.
    Mix well.
    Fold in cheese and pour into 8 x 8 greased casserole dish.\tTop with Ritz crackers, crumbled and mixed with melted butter.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes or until bubbly.
