Chicken Tikka - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (3 lb.) chicken, boned and cut into 8ths
1 tsp. pulped ginger
1 tsp. pulped garlic
1 1/2 tsp. ground coriander
1 1/2 tsp. ground cumin
1 tsp. chili powder
3 Tbsp. plain yoghurt
1 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 sliced onion
1 Tbsp. tomato puree
red food coloring (optional)
3 Tbsp. oil
1 lemon, cut in wedges
6 lettuce leaves
Preparation

In a large mixing bowl, blend spices together with yoghurt, salt, lemon juice, coloring and tomato puree.
Add chicken pieces and coat well.
Leave overnight or for at least 3 hours.
