Country Steak - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. round steak (3/4-inch thick)
2 Tbsp. shortening
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/4 c. water
Preparation

Cut meat into serving sizes.
Brown meat in frying pan, using 2 tablespoons shortening.
Pour off fat.
Stir in soup and water; cover and simmer for 1 1/2 hours or until tender.
Stir often.
