Hot Pepper Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. jalapeno or chili peppers
    1 medium onion, chopped
    3 c. shredded cabbage
    1 1/2 c. apple cider vinegar
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/2 c. water
    1 Tbsp. pickling salt
    1 Tbsp. fresh cilantro
    1 tsp. celery seed
    2 cloves garlic, minced
Preparation
    Chop peppers.
    In large pan combine all ingredients.
    Mix well.
    Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring.
    Boil 8 to 10 minutes or until thickened, stirring frequently.
    Immediately fill hot pint jars, leaving 1/2-inch headspace.
    Place lids on jars. Process in boiling water canner for 15 minutes.
    Yields 3 pints.
