Oatmeal Chip Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. margarine, softened
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. packed brown sugar
    1 1/4 c. flour
    1 1/2 c. quick oats, uncooked
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
    1 c. pecans
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cream butter.
    Gradually add sugar, beating well with mixer at medium speed.
    Add eggs and vanilla.
    Beat well.
    Combine flour, soda and salt.
    Add to creamed mixture and mix well.
    Stir in oats, chips and pecans.
    Spread mixture into a greased 9 x 13 x 2-inch pan.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
    Cool and cut into squares.
    Yields 4 dozen.
