Parisian Onion Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 large white onions
    1/2 c. water
    6 tsp. chicken bouillon, dissolved
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    6 slices French bread or toast
    seasoned croutons
    sliced Swiss or Mozzarella cheese
    1/4 c. Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Simmer thinly sliced onions in water until tender.
    Dissolve bouillon.
    Add to onions.
    Simmer a few minutes.
    Place a few croutons and a slice of toast in each bowl.
    Add a slice of cheese.
    Pour soup over cheese.
    Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Let stand for a minute or two to melt cheese.
