Icebox Rolls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 qt. milk
1 c. sugar
1 c. mashed potatoes
12 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 c. melted shortening
2 pkg. yeast
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
Preparation

Scald milk; cool to lukewarm. Combine sugar and potatoes in a large mixing bowl; mix well. Add milk and shortening.
Stir in yeast. Sift 6 cups flour, salt, baking powder and soda. Stir into yeast mixture. Cover dough; let rise for 2 hours.
