California Seafood Brunch Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 oz. fresh mushrooms
    2 Tbsp. butter
    12 oz. crabmeat, flaked
    2/3 c. sliced green onions
    2 c. shredded Swiss cheese
    5 to 6 c. (1-inch) French bread cubes
    4 eggs
    2 1/2 c. milk
    1 tsp. dry mustard
    1/2 tsp. hot pepper sauce
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Saute mushrooms in butter in skillet over low heat for 8 minutes, remove from heat.
    Stir in crabmeat, green onions and cheese.
    Layer bread cubes and seafood mixture, half at a time, in a 9 x 13-inch baking dish, pressing down layers.
    Whisk eggs and remaining ingredients in bowl.
    Pour over layers.
    Chill, covered, for 4 hours or overnight.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 50 minutes or until set.
    Yield: 12 servings.
