Veal Parmigiana - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. very thin veal steak
    1 onion, minced
    2 garlic cloves, minced
    6 Tbsp. olive oil
    2 1/3 c. tomatoes
    1 1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    dash of oregano
    1/4 c. fine dry bread crumbs
    grated Parmesan cheese
    1 egg, beaten
    1/2 lb. Mozzarella cheese, sliced
Preparation
    Cut veal into serving pieces.
    Cook onion and garlic in 3 tablespoons olive oil for 5 minutes.
    Add tomatoes, salt and pepper; simmer, uncovered, for 10 minutes.
    Add tomato sauce and oregano.
    Simmer 20 minutes longer.
    Combine crumbs and 1/4 cup of grated cheese.
    Dip veal into egg, then into crumbs.
    Brown in 3 tablespoons olive oil in skillet.
