Italian Scallops - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. scallops
    1 c. melted butter
    1/2 c. olive oil
    4 to 5 cloves crushed garlic
    bread crumbs
    oil for frying
Preparation
    Combine olive oil, butter and garlic.
    Coat scallops with mixture and let marinate 1 to 4 hours at room temperature.
    In a large skillet, heat 1 inch of oil to 350\u00b0.
    Bread scallops and fry in oil, about 2 minutes on each side.
    Place on paper towels. Serve with lemon wedges and cocktail sauce for dipping.
    Use as main course or an appetizer.
